SE-101 Orientation/Safety
This is the introductory course in scaffolding. The student will be given information on the need for proper job planning, support requirements and assembly of scaffolds. The course will cover the statistics of accidents, the identification of various scaffold assemblies and the reasons and sources of regulations pertaining to scaffolding. Practice in assembly will also be a part of this course.

SE-102 Health and Safety
This course is designed to prepare the student to enter the scaffolding workplace prepared to abide by health and safety rules designed to protect themselves and others. The course will cover the specific rules on safety protection to be worn by the worker, safety equipment to be used and safety procedures.

SE-103 Scaffolding Introduction
This course is designed to prepare the student to enter the scaffolding workplace. The course will cover specific rules on safety protection to be worn by the worker, safety equipment to be used and safety procedures. Handling and assembly procedures will be covered and practiced in a worksite setting.

SE-104 Introduction to Job Planning
This course introduces the student to the planning process for scaffolding. The scaffolding planning process requires consideration for costs, rules and regulations, timing of construction and safe and timely material delivery to the jobsite. Practice will be given in reading prints, extracting estimates and setting schedules.

SE-105 Planning Procedures
This course is designed to prepare the student to complete scaffolding planning assignments. This prepares the student with the ability to respond to worksite scaffolding needs. The course will cover specific methods for assessing the needs of an installation which will include compliance with regulations, safe practices and safe and practical procedures.

SE-106 Welded Frame/Mobile Tower Scaffolds
This course is designed to prepare the student to complete scaffolding planning assignments that use manual mobile towers of welded frame construction. This prepares the student with the ability to respond to worksite scaffolding needs. Specific methods for assessing the needs will be included to comply with regulations for safe procedures on welded frames and towers work.

SE-107 Welded Frame/Mobile Tower II
This course is designed to prepare the student to complete scaffolding on mobile welded towers and their proper assembly including approved sub-assemblies. The course will cover specific methods for assessing the needs of an installation which will include compliance with regulations, safe practices and safe and practical procedures on welded frames and towers and their safety features.

SE-108 Welded Frame Scaffolding III
This course is designed to prepare the student to complete welded scaffolding installations and provide proper assembly of approved sub-assemblies. The course will stress specific methods for assessing the needs of an installation of the sub-assemblies and compliance with regulations, safe practices and safe and practical procedures on welded frames and their safety features.

SE-109 Welded Frame Scaffolding IV
This course is designed to prepare the student to complete the more advanced installation of welded scaffolding and provide practice in layout and completing the application and assembly. The course will stress the need of an installation with complex welded frames structures.

SE-110 Scaffolding Tube and Clamp
This course is designed to prepare the student to complete the installation of tube and clamp scaffolding and provide practice in layout and completing the application and assembly. The course will stress the need for safety and compliance with rules and regulations on tube and clamp structures.

SE-111 Scaffolding Tube and Clamp II
This course is designed to prepare the student to complete the more complex installations of tube and clamp scaffolding. The course will provide the opportunity to practice layout and assembly of actual jobs. The course will stress the need for safety and compliance with rules and regulations on tube and clamp structures.

SE-112 Systems Scaffolding
This course is designed to prepare the student to complete installations of system scaffolding. The course will provide the opportunity to practice layout and assembly of actual jobs. The course will stress the need for safety and compliance with rules and regulations on system scaffolding structures.

SE-113 Advanced Frame Scaffolding/Shoring Platforms and Layout
This course is designed to prepare the student to complete the planning of installations of shoring scaffolding with a particular emphasis on the conditions of the location. The course will use sample assignments calling for consideration of load distribution and shoring with CAL and CAL-OSHA considerations.

SE-114 Advanced Systems Scaffolding Scaffold Reshoring
This course is designed to prepare the student to complete re-shoring installations of scaffolding with particular emphasis on the conditions of the location. The course will use sample assignments calling for consideration of load distribution and shoring with mobile and rolling shoring tables.

SE-115 Scaffold Rigging
This course uses materials to provide those employed in the construction industry and completing carpentry assignments the opportunity to receive instruction in rigging. The course covers the methods of rigging, the safety of rigging and the equipment used in rigging. The course will make the student aware of the acceptable and recognized methods of performing rigging tasks on a construction site.

SE-116 Estimation & Coordination of Scaffold Projects
This course is designed to prepare the student to complete scaffolding estimating and job coordination. This prepares the student with the ability to respond to worksite scaffolding needs. The course will cover specific methods for assessing the needs of an installation which will include compliance with regulations, safe practices and safe and practical procedures.
